A fifth-generation Pittsburgher, Morgan has built a career focusing on strengthening communities and creating more responsive and people-centered systems. Morgan has held roles in public service including the Office of Mayor Ed Gainey as the Inclusion Diversity Equity and Access Manager, policy advocacy in Black maternal health, cultural, and civic spaces throughout the Pittsburgh region. From 2022-2024, Morgan made history as the first Black woman elected Vice Chair of the Allegheny County Democratic Party.
Morgan is also an accomplished multidisciplinary visual artist whose practice explores Black interiority, ancestral memory, and liberation through mixed media. Her work has been exhibited locally, nationally, and internationally and reflects her broader commitment to creativity, self-determination, and imagining more expansive possibilities for humanity.
From the University of Pittsburgh, Morgan earned a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor in Psychology and Minor in Studio Art.
